“Response to Landscape” a two artist exhibition, explores the European expressionist landscapes of senior semi-abstract painter Peter Griffen. Executed over the 1990s to 2021, included are works first exhibited in London, Paris, Lyon, and St Tropez. Contrasted are the tactile, hand made felt vessels of award winning textile artist, Denise Lithgow. Also based on the landscape, Lithgow’s works portrey rich colour and a magical meshing of fibres.
